“Entrance from the street” – a restaurant by the charity “Nochlezhka” and an employment transit project for the homeless. The opening in Nochlezhka was planned in 2018, looking at European restaurants where homeless people train. In St. Petersburg, a place for a restaurant was found in the center of Bertgold, and Famous chefs and restaurateurs helped open it: Alexander Berkovsky (“Society of Clean Plates”, Mishka Bar), Dmitry Blinov (Duoband), Anton Abrezov (Commons) and others.

In the restaurant, Nochlezhka booths are trained as cooks, baristas, waiters or bartenders, receive a salary and gain experience to live without the help of the organization in the future. Two trainees are currently working in the kitchen and 15–20 homeless people will be trained here annually.

The “Entrance from the street” is good both with the idea and with the food. The menu contains understandable dishes with reference to homemade food. Giallo by the Ezo Izakaya & Bar team is one of the most elegant March openings in St. Petersburg. The idea is simple – an Italian bistro and a bar, the execution is vintage-cinema. Everything is like an Italian movie from the 70’s: lacquered walls, glossy wall paint, vintage furniture, leather, leopard and metallic details.
