“The Cherry Orchard” – premiere on Bronnaya Street after renovation

April 15 and 16 Theater on Malaya Bronnaya (artistic director – Konstantin Bogomolov) presents the premiere – and the first performance in the renovated building. The Cherry Orchard is a new directorial work by Mikita Ilyinchik, who made his debut a year ago with The Benevolent, based on the novel of the same name by Jonathan Littell. The play features permanent actors of the Bogomolovsky producers: Igor Mirkubanov, Dmitry Kulichkov, young stars Yevgeny Revenko, Vasilisa Perelygina. Ranevskaya is played by Ekaterina Volkova.

In one play, director Alexei Dubrovsky combined two Ostrovsky comedies. The main character is a resilient optimist and dreamer Misha Balzaminov, who in every way seeks not only a rich bride, but also emotions. Balzaminov plays the young actor Dmitry Marin. On stage in such an important premiere for the theater, the entire golden cast of Maly – Irina Muravyova, Lyudmila Polyakova, Vladimir Nosik, Lyudmila Titova, Svetlana Amanova, Viktor Nizovoy.

The show’s welcoming, popular, popular commercial world, created by production designer Maria Utrobina, was inspired by Tatyana Mavrina’s painting.

Exhibition of Classical and Contemporary Art “ART MOSCOW”

“The Return of Don Quixote” at the Voznesensky Center

From April 15 to April 18, the Voznesensky Center will host an exhibition of contemporary art, co-organized with the Maxim Boxer Gallery and the Ball and Cross community. Ball and Cross appeared in the spring of 2020 during quarantine and became an online sales platform – and many artists were able to survive in pandemic times. All authors now invited to participate will create special works on “The Return of Don Quixote” – this is the name of the novel by Gilbert Chesterton, philosopher and humanist. The authors of the work at the Voznesensky Center want to repeat simple truths: art matters, helping others is important, shared experiences are invaluable.

“Ice Age” gala show

On April 15th and 16th, the most prominent figure skaters will gather in Luzniki. Ilya Averbukh’s magnificent gala show “Ice Age” will be dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the famous coach Tatyana Anatolyevna Tarasova.
