The Daegu Tourism Foundation has invited a group of foreign correspondents to Korea to promote the “2022 World Gas Conference” (0+). A press tour was held from April 29 to 30 for about 10 foreign media correspondents in Japan, China and Taiwan, and PrimaMedia’s correspondent in Korea Jeong Hyung-jun attended the event.

The purpose of the press tour is to familiarize journalists with Daegu in order to develop the city’s tourism potential in relation to the 2022 World Gas Conference, the largest international event this year.

The foreign correspondents visited tourist places where they could see the beauty of Daegu and learn about the history of the city. The correspondents visited places such as Donghwasa Temple, Modern Alley, E-World and Gyeongsang Gamyeong and learned a lot about medical tourism in Daegu.

On May 29, reporters took the KTX train from Seoul Station to Tongdaegu in just 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the first thing they did was visit Donghwasa Temple.
