Italian-Lebanese Mina, Magadan in Flying Dutchman and the good old Georgia in Askanelli – Poster-restaurants

  • In St. Petersburg everything is ready for the summer gastronomic season – you will not get bored in the new restaurants! Here they sing in Georgian, arrange poetry readings and float along the canals, accompanied by the author’s dishes and drinks.

  • Askaneli
  • Large-scale Georgian restaurant

  • Atmospheric restaurant in the Kurortny district of St. Petersburg from one of the largest wineries in Georgia. How to get to Tbilisi! It is a joint project of the restaurants of St. Petersburg, Artem Gudchenko and Svetlana Guz (restaurant Eclipse) and Gocha Chkhaidze, the founder of the Astaneli winery. The project turned out to be large-scale: a 250-seat cottage with four large summer terraces, a concert stage and a gourmet shop. Antique rugs were brought from Georgia to decorate the restaurant, the oldest is 92 years old. They also brought a whole truck with qvevri – clay wine aging amphorae and the staff uniform was created by a company that specializes in national costume sewing.

  • The authors plan to acquaint visitors not only with the tastes of Georgia, but also with the rich culture of the country: concerts and chants are organized almost every night. They promise to make tastings with winemakers. Yes, and the Georgian tradition of toast starts from the very first minutes: the waiter pours a glass of wine or grape juice as a compliment, accompanying the process with a nice speech. After that, the menu is served to guests. The kitchen is run by chef Maxim Galishnikov of the Supra restaurants in Vladivostok and the Georgian cuisine in his show appears in a new light. The style of food can be described as “Caucasian” – Georgia is mixed with Asia in one dish, so the usual chkmeruli is made from scallops with bright hot spices and the finest dough for khinkali is made from Japanese wheat flour. However, no one canceled the variety of barbecues. Wines, brandy, chacha, fruit essences and cocktails are poured on them. Already this summer in the center of St. Petersburg they plan to open a second institution.

  • “Magadan”
  • Restaurant on the legendary ship

  • The Flying Dutchman has finally ceased to be a gastronomic ghost. Moscow restaurants Anton Pinsky and Arkady Novikov decided to take over the legendary ship on the Neva and opened a restaurant here, the idea of which is considered successful in the capital. The interior became calm, leaving the main attraction with stunning views from the panoramic windows of Petropavlovka, the Admiralty and the Winter Palace. Attach live concerts and parties until the morning – one of the main entertainment venues for the summer.

  • There are two floors for 150 guests plus a float for another 100. A water system for hedgehogs, oysters and crabs is installed in the room. Seafood is sold almost at the prices of Russian suppliers. The star of the menu is a special display dish, various “Grand” seafood and vegetables on a rotating plate: there are crabs, octopus with garlic and rosemary, grilled salmon, squid, pink shrimp, mussels in white wine, new Baku potatoes, asparagus spinach. All of these can be ordered separately. For a cold appetizer, you should try small and sweet Magadan shrimp and for a hot appetizer, take large Argentine shrimp. Prepare many options for crab salad in various forms. The menu is as clear and familiar as possible: soups, risotto, fish pies, rolls. No surprises or experiments. The list of bars also includes the most famous cocktails and wines, such as in Moscow’s Magadan.

  • Mina
  • Italian-Lebanese cuisine from Moscow

  • A new Italian-Lebanese restaurant by Aram Mnatsakanov, such as in Moscow on Malaya Nikitskaya, has opened on the select island of Krestovsky. From the panoramic windows you can see the industrially beautiful Lazarevsky Bridge, but inside it is even better. High ceilings and huge windows fill the restaurant with air, while the open kitchen fills it with strong aromas of spices and Middle Eastern pastries. The abundance of green combined with the light natural textures of furniture and decor is very relaxing – you want to wear white linen pants and not rush anywhere. You can afford to have a cocktail, fill the table with bright snacks.

  • According to Aram Mikhailovich’s idea, Italian and Lebanese traditions, freshness and brightness are combined in the restaurant’s cuisine. The dishes are just like that. For an appetizer, you should definitely try the muhamara – a dip with roasted peppers, tomatoes, a mixture of nuts and rich Israeli spices. Pete is praised. Even the usual tabbouleh turned out to be unexpected, the local version is a salad with excellent herbs. Mina relied on a special pizza, invented by Manuel Surachi, who is in charge of the dough in all of Mnatsakanov’s restaurants. The pizza in Mina is the thinnest and crispiest, even the sides remain hollow. Thus, all the taste is gathered in the toppings, whether it is the classic “Four Cheeses” or a luxurious pizza with salmon and black caviar. Lots of interesting hot dishes, a success in the style of the Middle East – tender lamb cut into slices. By the sea – traditional Lebanese paella with shrimp and squid. Drink, of course, cold sparkling.

  • “Futura Bar”
  • Bar for cultured people at Lenpoligraphmash

  • The children from the Futura bistro in Petrogradka have started their bar again and will soon occupy the entire courtyard of Lenpoligraphmash. The bar is located in a separate two-storey building with a large summer balcony and terrace. They promise to pull the benches in the yard, then the number of seats will tend to infinity. The form of the bar is full of composure: understandable, greedy fast food, uncomplicated aristocratic cocktails, wines – everyone’s favorite pop music. Especially for Futura, a Russian winery pours sparkling – pink bubbles. Why not an accompaniment for white nights? In addition, the bar makes its own tinctures, including the fragrant cardamom bun from the bistro. Roma Klyukvin’s ultra-short menu focuses on burgers, of which there are four types: cheese, fish, chicken, broccoli vegetables and fried eggs. For burgers – a couple of salads, potatoes, crispy chicken, sauces. For dessert, they will bring an ice cream sandwich, where the melted pistachio ice cream is located between two chocolate chip cookies. The bar is charged for the summer without worries.

  • Small restaurant with bakery in Ozerki

  • A restaurant with a serious bakery and patisserie in a residential area in the north of the city. There are only 20 places, but the kitchen is huge. The name Dequfo (“Dekufo”) is an abbreviation of the main idea of the place: delicious quality food, which translates from English as “delicious quality food”. Chef Ilya Solomatin is a student of one of the best chefs in the country, Andrey Matyukha from Krasnodar (“Ugli-ugli”, “The Oven”), so Ozerki residents no longer have to go to the center to eat delicious – common food. Dequfo has focused on pastries and breakfasts: a dozen delicious croissants, puff pastries and rolls have been perfected. Every morning the group bakes French classic baguettes, Borodino cream bread, tartines, soft wheat rolls. The residents of Dequfo’s house plan to introduce a daily or weekly subscription to pastries with coffee. If you want a croissant and cappuccino in bed, please.

  • The showcase in the room attracts with colorful desserts: a hybrid of lime and lemon with parsley, strawberries with cream and toast on a stick – a potato cake with a caramel center. • Peche

  • Shu, craft beer and coffee specialties

  • Small cafe in Scandinavian minimalist style with French flavors. Spend the morning for a shu bun with cream and a cup of coffee specialties and the evening for cod with mashed potatoes and a glass of white. The main thing, of course, is cake and cake. An entire army of wonderful shu buns with unusual filling combinations was placed in the window: propolis cream topped with chamomile gel and malt chocolate. The layered “Napoleon” is decorated with a subtle touch of tonka bean flavor. And it is impossible not to take Madeleines bags with citrus fruits with you. For coffee, only specialty beans are used, there is a section with the author’s drinks such as lime latte. Variations of cold coffee drinks have already been prepared for the summer. • “Noise”

  • Cabaret at Mayakovsky’s house

  • Noise restores the forgotten kind of cabaret. In the house where Mayakovsky lived, next to the Joseph Brodsky Museum and the Writers’ Quarter, all the bohemians of St. Petersburg gather in the evenings. For a glass, but rather for a bottle, people come here to talk or keep quiet about the essentials. “Shum” was developed by the residents of the apartments, keeping their mood, and every night something happens here. Either solo performances, after poetry readings, after varnishing. Life is in full swing in many rooms and the wine bottles only manage to get out of the wine room. One of the best sommelier in St. Petersburg, Regina Khalikova, gathered, it seems, endless choices for glittering, white, orange, pink and red. Pay attention to the choice of modern Armenian wines – there is something to admire.
